Maria is an accomplished industrial designer with a retail and point of purchase (POP) design background. Her corporate background includes marketing and brand management and currently is focusing on packaging design and branding. All her life Maria has been mesmerized by nature´s wisdom, beauty and strategies. One interesting social service project which involved Maria’s love of animals, powers of observation and creative thinking was designing ‘play’ toys for caged animals at the Chapultepec Zoo.



As a Biomimicry Specialist, Maria wants to help companies innovate and develop sustainable solutions by incorporating the biomimicry genius into their products.

She also participates as a co-founder of the emerging Biomimicry Regional Network in Mexico City, to share and spread the knowledge of Biomimicry.
